) Ive been a hard worker all my life. My jobs have ranged from being a teacher, GM of a few companies, Operations Manager, Warehouse Managers; partners in my own companies, Etc. About Twelve years ago after going for a hike (over ten miles) in the mountains I developed major problems with my legs. To make a long story short they had to put an artery in my right leg and the first one they put in went bad.In May of last year I had it amputated. Ive been retired since but have raised my Grand daughter (Alexa) whos now nine years old. My daughter (Amy) completed college while I took care of Alexa and is an RN now ; they moved out so. I really hated to see them go. I really love children and Ill miss them both. I took and passed my CBEST and am certified (2005) to teach K through Adult Education. Im not sure if thats my calling but well see. I've done consulting and helped to start a company for my brother (I had to be a silent partner) because he had no business experience. I'm originally from Maine , over twenty years in CA then Moved To AZ last MAY when I bought a house. I go to Maine each summer My Mom (90) and five sisters live there. I love Maine to visit and I go back there every year. I have a dog two cats, and Alexa has a rat that stays here ) I love children and animals. ) I always have. As a hobby I used to sometimes drive the fire roads around CA .) ) I want to go horseback riding again but just haven't. Raising Alexa has taken more of my time than any job Ive had. ) ) I've loved every second of it and I thank God for letting me take care of her. We do a lot of things together, from going to Auto Shows, to taking the train downtown (LA). ) Now I hope to explore Arizona with my new love..I have more to say and will when I Have more time!
